Superalloys: Extreme Pressure Performance

The Best Coolant for Titanium & Inconel collection is the "Formula 1" tier of machining fluids. Exotic materials like Titanium (6Al-4V)Inconel 718Hastelloy, and 300-Series Stainless Steel (304/316) work-harden rapidly and generate shear stress that destroys standard carbide. Mineral oils often fail to maintain a lubricating film under these pressures. This collection features Oemeta’s High-Performance Ester Fluids, which use polar-bonding technology to reduce friction torque and extend tool life in difficult materials.

The "Polar Bonding" Advantage

1. Why Mineral Oil Isn't Enough

Standard mineral oil molecules are non-polar and can be wiped off the tool surface under extreme pressure.

  • The Solution: Oemeta Esters (found in Hycut and 770 AE) are polar (magnetic). They actively orient themselves toward the metal surface, creating a resilient lubricating film that withstands the high friction of cutting superalloys.

2. Heat & Work Hardening

Titanium conducts heat poorly, trapping temperatures in the tool and workpiece, which leads to work hardening.

  • The Solution: These fluids are designed for High-Pressure delivery (1,000+ PSI) without foaming, blasting heat out of the cut zone to prevent the material from hardening ahead of the cutter.
