Choose the holder type for the operation. Compare external-holder shank dimensions with the machine tool station; for internal work, check the bar dimensions and required bore clearance against the part.
Confirm size, seat and hand
Use the documented insert size, seat and hand for the selected holder configuration. Holder hand and insert hand must be checked against the manufacturer relationship; the letters in a product name alone are not a compatibility rule.
