TDMX 3xD modular drill bodies carry replaceable drill heads. Internal coolant channels support heat reduction, and the front-clamp design allows head changes without removing the body from the holder. Workpiece suitability depends on the selected head geometry and grade.

Choose the body’s permitted drill-diameter range, maximum drilling depth and shank diameter. Check overall length, insert gage length and holder clearance. Select a head with the correct seat size within that body’s stated diameter range.

Compatibility and use

Use the exact body-to-head article pairing together with seat size and diameter range. PK, MS and FPE describe different head geometries; a shared TDMX name alone does not establish fit. Confirm the body-specific clamping screw and driver when ordering replacements.

Use the maximum drilling depth listed for the selected body, together with the head’s point length and the required hole geometry. The 3xD family designation does not replace those dimensions.
