SCHUNK quick-change pallet systems and components

Pallet systems connect workholding assemblies to a defined locating and clamping arrangement. Stations, pallets, pins and height extensions have different roles. A complete setup requires the relevant interfaces and clearances to be verified together.

Choose by the application, then the configuration

Define how the workpiece or fixture will be located and transferred between setups. Identify the selected clamping modules, locating components and pallet interfaces as a complete arrangement. Review access for installation and for the required release method.

Confirm each interface and the manufacturer’s operating conditions for the exact system. Separate the pallet, modules, pins and monitoring accessories in the requested scope. Our team can review the proposed layout using the fixture drawing, selected articles and installation constraints.

Specifications that matter

Review module or station interface, pin pattern, pallet dimensions, pull-down conditions, actuation and clearance. Read each value with its units and the conditions attached to it. Where the drawing uses a reference letter or subscript, match that reference to the table instead of relying on the apparent proportions of the illustration.

Read drawings and manufacturer documents together

Use the selected product’s technical table, dimension drawing and supporting manufacturer documents together. Check the article or EDP identifier and the document’s stated family or configuration scope. A general catalog page can provide context, but it should not override a current product-specific listing when the two disagree.

Frequently asked questions

Are all VERO-S components interchangeable?

Use the exact product family, size and interface information. A shared system name does not establish universal pin, pallet or station compatibility.

What should I compare when selecting a pallet interface?

Identify the receiving module or station, pallet and clamping pin. Compare the exact family, mounting pattern and manufacturer’s stated combination for every connection.

Are matching mounting dimensions enough to confirm compatibility?

They are only part of the review. Confirm the selected module, pin and pallet specifications and any installation requirements in the applicable manufacturer documents.

What information helps review a new pallet setup?

Provide the machine table, proposed pallet dimensions, fixture arrangement and exact component articles. Tech Tool can help review the mounting and locating requirements before a quote is finalized.
