ADDI-PROX products address specific fluid-maintenance needs. They are not interchangeable treatments or substitutes for finding the cause of a sump problem. Select the exact additive only after reviewing the fluid in use, measured conditions and the manufacturer’s compatibility and dosing instructions.

Identify the issue before selecting an additive

Record the coolant designation, sump volume, concentration, recent test results and maintenance history. Describe the symptom and when it occurs. Foam, odor, residue or a changing pH can have more than one cause, so appearance or smell alone should not determine the treatment.

Confirm the exact product and dose

Match the additive’s intended function to the confirmed issue and base fluid. Obtain the applicable dosing and mixing instructions before treatment. Do not use a generic percentage, a universal pH threshold or a compatibility claim for the entire ADDI-PROX family.

Check the result and correct the source

Document what was added and recheck the relevant operating measurements according to the agreed procedure. Review leaks, water quality, mixing, contamination and circulation where relevant. Repeated additions without identifying the source can obscure the condition of the fluid.

Can I add a defoamer whenever foam appears?

Confirm the cause and product compatibility first. Mechanical air entrainment, fluid concentration, contamination and water conditions may require a different correction. Ask for product-specific advice before dosing.
