Selecting coolant mixers
Choose mixing equipment by operating method, supply requirements and the concentration range supported by the selected model. Venturi mixers, metering pumps and other systems need different installation conditions.
Confirm flow, water pressure, concentrate supply, connections and included components in the product specifications. Set and check working concentration using the fluid manufacturer’s guidance and refractometer factor. Lockouts and repair kits are accessories, rather than complete mixers.

Review the mixing installation
- Identify the selected fluid and the required working-concentration guidance for the operation.
- Provide the available water-supply conditions and intended concentrate-feed arrangement for model selection.
- Confirm the exact mixer’s supported flow and concentration range, connections, mounting and supplied components.
- Plan how the delivered mixture will be checked using the fluid supplier’s method. Separate the complete mixer from lockouts, repair kits and replacement components when preparing the quote.
Questions before you select
What determines which mixer configuration I need?
Compare the operating method, available water supply, supported concentration range, required flow and connections. Use the exact model’s specifications; venturi and metering systems have different supply requirements.
Does the mixer setting prove the working concentration?
Verify the delivered mixture using the fluid manufacturer’s measurement guidance and product-specific refractometer factor or other specified method. A setting is not a substitute for checking the working fluid.
Are a mixer lockout or repair kit complete mixing systems?
No. Confirm whether the selected SKU is complete equipment or an accessory, and verify the components and compatibility listed for that configuration.
