Full-radius grooving and cutoff operations place different demands on the tool. Compare the precision-ground GUP full-radius configurations with the CL cutoff configurations for the required feature and workpiece.
Match the insert to its holder seat
Use the selected insert’s exact manufacturer-compatible holder references. The range includes more than one seat size; an insert width or platform name alone is insufficient to select a holder. Check hand, clearance and machine shank capacity as part of the complete setup.
Check reach and cutoff capacity separately
Read the selected holder’s published depth and bar-diameter limits with its dimensional drawing. Maximum bar diameter for tube cutoff and grooving is not the same dimension as maximum cutoff depth in solid bar. Follow the applicable manufacturer guidance for coolant and cutting conditions.

Select the geometry for the intended operation and feature. Do not treat the GUP full-radius and CL cutoff configurations as interchangeable simply because they belong to Beyond Evolution.
Does a holder include its cutting insert?
Use the quoted line items and confirmed scope of delivery to establish what is supplied. Send the exact insert and holder material numbers when requesting a complete combination.
